Energy Manager

Your new role To ensure the effective management of energy resources to meet client's objectives and targets. To identify, develop and implement new energy related opportunities and support operations and maintenance teams, Carry out all energy and sustainability related tasks to ensure service provision and compliance To coordinate activities across the business unit and motivate and train people in energy management Develop and implement clear energy performance strategies for a range of buildings and clients Promote energy efficiency and provide advice and support for the development of energy-efficient practices. Work with the operations teams to improve the energy performance of buildings, particularly through the application of advanced control systems, Provide full feasibility studies of costed initiatives and projects to reduce energy usage. Support project teams to manage the implementation of initiatives. Undertake energy surveys in clients' premises Work with and support the Head of Projects to ensure that the environmental and social impact of all projects is assessed and taken into account. Collect and present Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting of Utilities, Waste and Carbon Emissions, taking full ownership of data management platforms. What you'll need to succeed Minimum 5 years experience in energy management or the application of Building Management Systems Working knowledge of BMS and control theory. Extensive knowledge of the principal techniques and technologies that support the efficient use of energy. To prepare, and develop under the guidance of a project leader, calculations, analysis, drawings, diagrams, models and other documents relating to the design. To seek, and record evidence of, continuing professional development (CPD) in accordance with the requirements of the relevant professional Institution.
