With a history dating back to 1971, our client specialises in managing multimillion-pound contracts across various sectors in the West Midlands. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing projects from inception to completion. Your new roleIn this position, you will manage both designed and design-and-build (D&B) projects, focusing on mechanical and electrical aspects. These projects can range up to £10 million (M&E) and cover diverse sectors, including commercial, residential, health, education, and leisure. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Senior Mechanical Engineer
Senior HVAC Design Engineer - Laboratories / Pharmaceutical / Industrial Projects - To £60K Are you a Senior Mechanical (HVAC / Building Services) Design Engineer with at least four years' experience; working for a consultancy or design and build contractor? Would you prefer to be involved in the design of complex pharmaceutical, laboratory, secondary manufacturing, and data centre projects? Due to growth, this national Building Services Consultancy are looking for an additional Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer for their London office. As recognised experts in the design and delivery of complex and mission critical projects their clients trust them to design highly serviced buildings that require temperature controlled, sterile environments that use complex systems such as medical gases, extraction systems, steam or purified air. You'll benefit from working in a diverse team of design engineers, a large number of their design engineer have worked for contractors before moving into consultancy. So they understand both sides of the industry and are happy to share their expertise with you. Role Leading the mechanical elements on projects from RIBA Stages 2 - 4 . Providing input into RIBA Stage 5 packages (Construction and Manufacturing) Acting as an interface between the contractor and client, ensuring the clients requirements are met. Ensuring projects to run smoothly from design, through construction, to handover. Mentoring the junior or intermediate mechanical engineers. Leading client and design team meetings. Promoting the use of new technology, renewables and automation in the design process. Acting as a single point of contact for clients, on projects that are under your control. Requirements At least four years' experience in a similar role (within the built environment.) Client facing able to interact with clients, contractors, and end users. End to end project experience, ie from design to overseeing the installation of Mechanical services on site.
