M&E Quantity Surveyor - Intermediate to Senior
Your new company A well established M&E Building Services Contractor operating over 14 years is looking for either an intermediate or senior quantity surveyor. This company prides itself on great service that it gives to customers and therefore often gains repeated work, examples of the sectors they work with include; hotels, transport and commercial. Your new role You will be working as a M&E Quantity Surveyor, working on a wide spectrum of project values up to £20 million - although their typical range for project values is circa £3-10 million. You will be involved in various duties within this role and that will include overseeing contracts, alongside the financial aspects accordingly. Mechanical Estimator/Design

This client works with a variety of different of clients, however in more recently focused more on projects public sector related typically on new large scale projects. The organisation provides offers services which include; mechanical design, installation and maintenance. Your new role You will be working as Mechanical estimator/Design which will include duties such as; enquiries to suppliers, inputting estimation software and completing tenders. What you'll need to succeed You will need to come from a Mechanical or HVAC Background within Building Services or similar. A Northamptonshire based organisation that has expanded from working on smaller size projects (£2 million) to regularly securing medium size projects (£12 million) . They are a forward thinking company and they are open to looking at different approaches for both their clients and employees . Your new role Your new role will be based in Northamptonshire, however there will be the ability of working from home 1-2 days a week. You will be working on a consultancy basis either at Junior/Intermediate/Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer. Designing electrical specifications from brief. Communicating with the client and developing a deeper understanding of their requirements. Creation of required documents for tendering. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including, healthcare, residential and industrial. What you'll need to succeed You will be experienced electrical engineer (various levels of experience will be considered) and be degree/HNC qualified or have considerable experience. You will preferably have experience using Amtech and Hevacomp. You will be either experienced or open to a variety of projects including public and private sector and you will ideally be confident in working on your own initiative. Mechanical Project Manager
Your new company You will be working for a leading M&E contractor that has continued to grow into one of the largest M&E contractors in the UK. They work on a variety of different projects which include; commercial, industrial and high-end residential. They have a strong pipeline of work and are looking for the right people to join their team for this continued growth.Your new role Attend project start up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects, delivering the project, on time and within budget. Familiarise yourself with all details and specifications of the project. Collate technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and followed through until approval. Manage labour tracker. Maintain Progress Report weekly, reporting and managing any changes/variations. Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team. Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment. Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project. Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place for the job and implement the commission plan on site. Manage K&M handover process and maintain K&M Document Management System. Project specific scheduling. Attend meetings as required with Sub Contractors to ensure on time delivery. Attend general site meetings and action any points raised.
