Electrical Design Engineer

Your new company You will be working for a well-established BuildingServices consultancy, who work in an expansive portfolio of sectors whichinclude; high-end residential, education, commercial and heritage. Within thesectors they work in, they provide services, which include; Mechanical,Electrical, Sustainable Design and BIM. Your new role Your main purpose ofthe role is the design of electrical engineering for building services. In this role, you willbe: Managing multiple projects and prioritising workload meet all assigned deadlines Surveying and reporting on electrical systems in buildings Prepare technical specifications and drawings using industry-standard software Undertaking design calculations Design electrical installations to meet British Standards Developing design proposals at sketch, detailed design and production stages Preparing tender documentation and reports Demonstrate a passion for electrical design engineering and a willingness to learn Support senior members of staff in managing client and design team relationships You will need toundertake other duties as may be required to achieve objectives. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have electrical design experience. Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Your new role You will join as the Senior Electrical Engineer in the London office. Taking lead of the electrical design process, working closely with your Director, and managing a small team of 4 electrical engineers. A key aspect of your role will be to take a lead role on projects, overseeing more junior members of staff and ensuring quality design is achieved. You will also have an external focus on business development and client management, looking to develop existing relationships and bring in new business where possible. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced electrical design specialist, with experience working at a senior level within the consultancy environment. Equally, if you're are an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer looking for a step-up, this role may also be suitable. You will have experience leading on a variety of projects. Ideally, you will have experience on residential, commercial or pharmaceutical projects, however this is not essential. Ideally, you will be charted with CIBSE or a comparable institute, although this isn't essential.
