CIBSE Patrons

CIBSE Patrons is a network of businesses who collaborate to give financial, technical and moral backing to a wide range of initiatives led by CIBSE. Members include consulting engineering practices, manufacturers, contractors, and trade bodies. The Patrons’ primary focus is on ‘nurturing talent’: they support a wide range of initiatives designed to attract, encourage and improve the recruitment, development, training and retention of engineers on behalf of the industry at large. This support ranges from the production of careers booklets, to the sponsorship of bursaries, and to their growing role as lead supporter of the CIBSE Young Engineers Awards.

BCIA

The Building Controls Industry Association(BCIA) is the unified voice of the UK building controls industry. Our members deliver the technology to create healthy buildings, through whole-life building management and building energy management solutions.  The BCIA is the leading association for the industry working to ensure adoption of controls solutions within the built environment.  As the go to association for the industry we lead on lobbying and advocacy; learning and skills; promote wider understanding and information; and support our members and wider industry to establish and maintain the highest standards in product and system development, application and service.

BCIA is a national trade association representing an industry worth an estimated £835 million in 2022.  We have 160 members from across the UK comprising manufacturers, distributors, systems integrators and service & maintenance specialists.

Hays

Hays are a world-wide specialist in recruitment and workforce solutions.  In FY23 we helped c.320,000 white-collar candidates secure their next career move, including c.245,000 Temp & Contracting roles and c.76,800 Perm jobs.

Our Construction & Property specialism has been a strong bedrock of our services for almost 50 years and we have developed specialist MEP Services within this specialism. This has lead to a long standing partnership with CIBSE. One our most recent new specialisms is sustainability and we’re excited to present roles in net zero and climate change, environmental social governance (ESG), sustainable buildings, energy and carbon management, environmental impact assessment (EIA), biodiversity and air quality, contaminated land, water management and flood risk management.
