CIBSE is an approved assessment entity in several states. Registration can be applied for via CIBSE as an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
CIBSE is currently applying to become an approved body with NSW Fair Trading (pathway 2) and will publish details of the scheme when approved.

As of January 2022, CIBSE is an approved assessment entity to carry out assessments on behalf of the Board of Professional Engineers Queensland.
