Number of hours required: Approx 12 hours in meetings and additional hours as required per year.
Responsibilities: The Social Media Champion is responsible for promotion of the Fellows Network, including:
- promotion of the CIBSE Fellows membership to encourage others to upgrade their membership to Fellow grade.
- promotion of the CIBSE Fellows Network activities, including events, to encourage attendance.
- promotion of the CIBSE Fellows Network committee to encourage Fellows to join.
Description: The CIBSE Fellows Network is an active international network of CIBSE Fellows — the most senior grade of CIBSE membership. The network is designed to benefit Fellows by offering networking opportunities, while supporting CIBSE and the wider industry by capitalising on their knowledge and skills. The Social Media Champion(s) would ideally have an existing knowledge of social media platforms (such as LinkedIn) in order to help promote the activities of the Network and to encourage a thriving community where experienced professionals can share insights, mentor others, and contribute to the continued growth of the industry.
