Number of Vacancies: Multiple

Location: International (committee meetings will be held online)

Number of hours required: Approx 12 hours in meetings and additional hours as required per year.

Responsibilities:  The Events Organisers are responsible for the organising events of the Fellows Network, including:

  • producing high quality technical events, with opportunity for networking
  • producing networking events to facilitate sponsorship of new Fellows
  • working with the CIBSE regional committees to bring events to the Fellows Network in CIBSE regions

Description: The CIBSE Fellows Network is an active international network of CIBSE Fellows — the most senior grade of CIBSE membership. The network is designed to benefit Fellows by offering networking opportunities, while supporting CIBSE and the wider industry by capitalising on their knowledge and skills.

Reasons to join a CIBSE committee:

  • Increasing your network by meeting like-minded individuals that can mentor you within the context of your special interest and people outside your local area
  • Attending the committee meetings counts towards CPD
  • Developing your soft skills including, but not limited to, event organisation; professional writing skills; presentation skills; networking skills, and more

Requirements: FCIBSE or Hon. FCIBSE membership
