We offer a range of CPDs that explain how to use mechanical ventilation in the most energy efficient ways in a number of applications and environments: - Energy efficient ventilation - Reducing carbon footprint and ventilation running costs - Data Centre Cooling - Low energy ventilation design - Air conditioning with indirect adiabatic cooling - Ventilation, dehumidification and heat recovery for minimum energy use in swimming pool halls - Passivhaus ventilation systems - Applications and design
Smoke Ventilation in Residential Buildings
Understanding why smoke ventilation is required in residential buildings, how to determine what smoke ventilation is required to suit your building design and what type of systems are available to fulfil that design.

These CPDs are delivered by a number of people working at Systemair with decades of experience between them Bob Sproston - has more than 36 years’ experience in the ventilation industry in design, manufacture and application of fans, air handling and heat recovery equipment Kirsty Aldridge has designed numerous systems using indirect adiabatic cooling for museums, educational spaces and laboratories since joining Menerga. She has worked on hundreds of pool designs ranging from small spas and private pools to Olympic pools and water parks and has worked on Passivhaus systems since their earliest adoption in the UK for an educational space to the first Passivhaus leisure centre in the country.
Michael Washbourne - Specification Manager
Michael has over 30 years of experience in the fire and smoke industry spending the last 15 years at Group SCS assisting with the design & specification of smoke ventilation systems. Michael was also responsible for the Approved Contractor training programme, creating the content for and then delivering the three day training courses.
