S&P UK Ventilation Systems Ltd (Soler & Palau)

IAQ

We identify the causes of poor indoor air quality and cover some of the main points from the recommended Standards & UK Building Regulations, followed by filtration levels and the mechanical ventilation equipment meeting this criteria & a quick Q&A session to finish.

Embodied Carbon

As we are all being driven to be more energy efficient, manufacturers of ventilation products have been re-designing and exploring new technologies to provide products which consume less energy. The construction industry has long focused on these operational carbon emissions and has paid much less attention to emissions related to the rest of the life cycle stages of buildings which we examine during this CPD.

Mechanical Kitchen Ventilation in the Commercial Sector

The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations require that employers provide effective and suitable ventilation in every enclosed workplace.

We investigate the laws surrounding commercial kitchen ventilation and take a detailed look at DW172, The Specification for Kitchen Ventilation Systems.
