Embracing the Circular Economy in design and development of Terminal Units
Pettinaroli inspired by the work done by CISBE with the publication of TM66 that looks at the Circular Economy for lighting fittings. Pettinaroli would like to reduce the waste associated with valve assemblies and where possible reuse and recondition the brass components to reduce the Carbon footprint.
Building on the BSRIA BG29 2021 Pre-commissioning cleaning of pipework systems and the interchangeability of the existing Pettinaroli UK assemblies, with further improvements of higher Kv flushing bypass and good size drains. Pettinaroli UK would like to explain the concept of moving to a Circular Economy for valve assemblies. The need for flushing dirt and debris out of valve assemblies for ultra-low flow rates is mentioned.
