Book NowThis event will discuss how people from a Black Minority Ethnic background evolve and navigate their own cultural identity in a professional setting where the cultural majority can be different. This event is jointly hosted by the CIBSE Minority Ethnic Groups Panel and CIBSE Home Counties South West.
Key Discussion Points:
Journey: How do the panellists view their journey so far, what has changed, and what can still improve?
Defining Identity Culture and Office Culture: How do the panellists view the two, and where do they think they can (or should) overlap?
Challenges in Balance: What are some of the difficulties or successes they’ve encountered while integrating their identity into their professional life?
Maintain and Lead Engagement: How do you develop a strategy to drive change and diversity? How can we refresh, streamline and modernise governance and values either at the institutional level or organisational level?
This is a hybrid event, you can join us in person or online.
