About CIBSE Certification   

CIBSE Certification Limited, recently appointed as NABERS UK Administrator,  is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and is accredited by UKAS to certify Management Systems and Personnel.

We certify management systems to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO50001 and ISO45001, Embodied Carbon claims, and the following personnel:

NABERS UK Assessors, Management System Specialists, Low Carbon Consultants (LCCs), Low Carbon Energy Assessors (LCEAs) that include non-domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Display Energy Certificates (DECs), Air Conditioning Inspectors (ACI), ESOS Lead Assessors, Heat Networks Consultants and Section 63 Advisors for Scotland.

Responsibilities

To provide technical support for personnel schemes, and to support the development and expansion of NABERS UK services, and Embodied Carbon verification schemes

  • Responding to technical enquiries for personal certification, and new schemes
  • Undertaking NABERS and other scheme activities e.g. reviewing data, reporting, auditing, supervision.
  • Achieving service level requirements when dealing with enquiries.
  • Assisting in investigations of complaints or potential conflicts of interest.
  • Completing audits of EPC, DEC, Air Conditioning Inspection, NABERS Reports etc.
  • Embracing our “customer orientated.” culture with feedback mechanisms.

Qualifications

  • Qualified and accredited Energy Assessor, with NABERS experience beneficial.
  • Minimum of two years experience carrying out energy assessments e.g. EPCs, DECs, NABERS or AC Inspections.
  • In depth technical knowledge of building services and requirements of the EPB Regulations and Part L.
  • Good working knowledge of software required to generate EPCs, DECs and AC Inspection Reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with partners to deliver effective solutions for customers.
