Hydrogen For Heating

This CPD presentation will look at how the UK Government has been investigating the possibility of decarbonising the gas transmission system to hydrogen and its use for heating. With the current strategy to decarbonise heat using heat pumps and heat networks, you may well ask why there is any justification at examining the use of hydrogen for heat. It will also look at how hydrogen is already part of the UK strategy for industrial decarbonisation.

Decarbonisation in ASHP in hybrid systems

As we are looking at making heating systems in the UK more sustainable and Carbon neutral, we can show that through the use of more hybrid systems, we will be able to decarbonise the heating sector in a much shorter time period than if we were to do this with heat pumps or single heat sources alone. As we can reduce the Capex and Opex costs for the client / end user whilst still massively reducing their Carbon footprint, helping schemes become more affordable.
