Mechanical Engineer (Senior/Associate)
Your new company A senior mechanical position is open at a well-established Building Services Consultancy, which has offices spread across the UK and Ireland. This firm has a long history of delivering leading engineering services to end-user clients, developers, and main contractors on large-scale projects in the Education, Government, Residential, and Commercial sectors. Applications are welcome from Senior Mechanical Engineers up to Associate Director level. Your new role Design of Mechanical Building Services projects. Collaborating with other design disciplines. Liaising with clients. Producing briefs, specifications, design drawings, survey work, and cost estimates. Writing technical reports and producing detailed calculations. Participating in design team and site meetings. Mentoring and supporting junior engineers What you'll need to succeed Degree qualified in mechanical engineering, building services or architectural engineering Knowledge and experience of building regulations. Minimum of 8 years' experience in a building services design consultancy BIM / Revit capabilities or willingness to develop Excellent communication skills. Must be IT literate in all Microsoft & CAD systems. Principal Electrical Engineer
Principal Electrical Engineer - London £58K to £68K + autonomy + iconic projects This Principal Electrical opportunity will allow you to lead iconic, large scale (£100M - £500M) residential, mixed-use and hotel projects across the UK and abroad. Building off the success of 2023 (their most profitable year), their 150 strong Building Services team is currently involved in a £1.5B regeneration project in West London and 250-meter, high-rise tower in Dubai and has also just been appointed on another £500M+ project in Zone 1, London. You'll become a key member of a team that has unmatched experience designing liveable, low carbon and zero carbon buildings. Their engineers don't just understand how to create spaces that are great, for the people that occupy them; they create environments and communities that are also great for society. Reporting to the Head of Electrical, you'll be responsible for ensuring all projects continue to push the boundaries of technical design, remain innovative and set new standards when it comes to low carbon, building design. As a key member of their interdisciplinary team, as a Principal Electrical Engineer you'll have a big impact on the future direction and success of their Building Services offering. Senior Electrical Engineer
Senior Electrical Design Engineer - To £65K + Package + Support Due to a sustained increase in commercial, mixed-use, and high-end residential projects; it's time to expand at this international building services consultancy. Established in London 25 years ago, they have grown steadily and have also expanded to have a presence and office in Central Europe. Reporting to a supportive, friendly, and down to earth Electrical Associate, you'll use your own initiative to lead projects through RIBA Stages 2 - 4. As a Project Leader, you'll use your own initiative and planning skills to ensure all projects under your control are delivered on budget and on time. This will include producing concept and detailed design including calculations, schematics, drawings, diagrams, Amtech models, and specifications. They operate a flat structure where the Directors and Associates all help the Principals, Seniors, and Engineers; and hence there are no big egos here. Just a team of around 30 MEP Engineers who partner with signature architects to design iconic commercial buildings and complex refurbishments across London. Every member of this culturally diverse and inclusive team all get along very well with each other; and collaborate to produce new ways to design smarter, more energy efficient buildings. Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer. Currently working in the UK, for a building services or multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.
