Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer - To £65K + Package - Data Centres As a recognised global expert in the design of data centres, this MEP Design Consultancy is continuing to experience steady growth across their London, European and Dubai offices. Having recently moved to a new HQ in London, they are looking for a Senior Electrical (Building Services) Design Engineer who enjoys working on data centre or other mission critical projects such as labs, clean rooms or life sciences projects. Reporting to the Electrical Associate and supported by a Principal Electrical Engineer when required, you'll use your initiative and experience to design and deliver projects through RIBA Stages 1-4. As a medium sized practice, they have created a culture where individuals can thrive and achieve their full potential. They operate a flat management structure and have always promoted people based on merit and ability. Here, you won't get bogged down with unnecessary red tape or office politics. You'll be given autonomy for leading projects; developing your own client relationships and nurturing the electrical team. You'll enjoy working on a variety of both new build and expansion or upgrade projects, with live projects currently underway across the UK, Ireland, Dubai, Europe and Australia. Requirements Degree qualified in a suitable Engineering field. Ideally at least five years' experience within the building services industry. Current experience with Data Centre; or other mission critical projects. Able to produce technical specifications, concept and detail designs, drawings, equipment schedules and written reports. Previous site experience, conducting site surveys or witnessing the installation or commissioning of Electrical systems. Able to assist the Director or Associate with fee proposals, resource allocation and nurturing less experienced engineers. Good communication skills; and able to work as part of a team. Package and Benefits Salary up to £65K (for a proper senior, with DC experience). Hybrid working policy. 25 days leave. Support to become a CEng, MIET. Payment of Professional Memberships. Ongoing support from Associates and Directors.

Sustainability Consultant (Client Side) Leeds/Manchester - to £39,000 + c.10% Bonus + Pension 12% + Package.
