Eligibility Criteria
A summary of the CIBSE Chartered Organisation’s eligibility criteria:
1. A percentage of your organisation’s leaders and staff must be professionally registered members of CIBSE
2. All building services work is conducted and signed off by those with sufficient professional and technical competence
3. All building services engineers must complete annual CPD on sustainability and building safety
4. The organisation must be able to demonstrate best practice in key policy areas
Assessment
All organisations must meet the stipulated eligibility criteria, as demonstrated through the application process. Applications will be assessed by members of CIBSE’s Education, Training & Membership Committee, facilitated by the Membership Department.
The designation will last for five years when full reaccreditation would need to take place.
