  • Winner: National University of Singapore for An Equatorial School of Architecture
  • Judges' Comments: Impressive utilisation of technology and environment to benefit users and reduce energy consumption.

Project of the Year – UK Refurbishment

  • Winner: Octatube for the refurbishment of the Grade II listed cable net façade of Channel Four building
  • Judges' Comments: A great example of sensitively refurbishing a complex façade, overcoming challenges of renovating innovative buildings from the era.

  • Winner: Fun-e-Tameer for Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi (ACPKHI) Academics Building
  • Judges' Comments: Inspirational combination of digital finesse, analysis, pragmatism, and response to local materials and labour.

Project of the Year – UK New Build

  • Winner: Arup for The Grand Courtyard and Pavilion at The Old War Office
  • Judges' Comments: An elegant response to the brief with impressive use of materials.

Project of the Year – International New Build

  • Winner: Eckersley O’Callaghan for Beijing City Library
  • Judges' Comments: A beautiful, sculptural yet highly technical and complex design, superbly detailed.

Project of the Year – Special Structures UK

  • Winner: Arup for Barn Elms Ecological Kiosk
  • Judges' Comments: A charming project with a sustainable approach, serving as an asset to the community.

Project of the Year – Special Structures International

  • Winner: Bellapart for L’Oréal, 14 Rue Royale
  • Judges' Comments: A beautifully finished work, sensitive to its surroundings, meeting architectural and client briefs.

  • Judges' Comments: Offers a wide variety of features, clear and easy to use.

Product of the Year

  • Winner: Hilti for HAC-V Edge
  • Judges' Comments: A simple yet effective solution addressing common issues in façade installation.

Dissertation of the Year

  • Recipient: Katie Cunningham
  • Dissertation Title: ‘Design for Disassembly and Reuse: A UK Methodology for Assessing the Disassembly and Reuse of Façades’

Young Façade Engineer of the Year

  • Recipient: Roberta Giacalone from Wintech
  • Recognition: For technical expertise, dedication to advancing façade engineering, and active contributions to major projects.

Lifetime Achievement Award

  • Recipient: John Downes
  • Recognition: For significant contributions to advancing façade engineering standards, especially in health, safety, and sustainability.

In addition, Dr. Hywel Davis was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the SFE for outstanding commitment to the Society of Façade Engineering and the industry.
