CIBSE HCNER CPD Webinar on Dispute Resolution in Building Services Engineering and the Role of the Expert Witnes

The webinar will discuss the common types of legal disputes that occur relating to Building Services and how they are resolved. This will include the role of the Expert Witness and how they provide technical advice to assist the parties and if necessary, the court or tribunal to settle the matter. Tony will also discuss the common issues that lead to disputes and provide some tips to avoid them.

Speaker's biography: Tony is a Chartered Building Services Engineer who has worked in the industry for over 35 years based in the UK and New Zealand. Most of that time was spent leading large and small projects for leading consulting engineering practices interspersed with some technical advisory and expert witness work. For the last few years he has been dedicated to Expert Witness work, which has included giving testimony under cross examination at trial.
