Other finalists include Veronika Labancova (Isometrix) who won the Best Written Paper Award for Possible Impact of Aging Influence on Light Quality Perception by Human Beings and James Duff (Arup) who was awarded Best Presentation for his presentation Any Objective Metric to Determine Subjective Light Adequacy? These categories were judged by the Institution of Lighting Professionals (ILP) and the Society of Light and Lighting respectively.
The awards, now in their 20th year, provide a unique platform for young lighters and are open for all to enter. The Awards allow the young lighters to illustrate their knowledge and research on a lighting subject, hone their presentation skills, and raise their profile within the industry. Each finalist gave their 15 minute presentation to a full audience at LuxLive on November 20th.
