The Australia and New Zealand Young Engineers Awards, now in its fourth year, is the Awards programme for the Building Services Engineering industry and recognises outstanding students, graduates and emerging professionals across the region.

3 finalists for each Award are invited to the ceremony in Sydney with included flights and accommodation from anywhere in Australia and New Zealand

What changes need to occur in planning the built environment today to help achieve a desirable, high-performing, sustainable built environment one decade on?
Age restrictions for Young Engineer of the Year have been replaced with “up to 7 years of building services experience” to make this award more accessible to those who have taken a career break or career change.

This year the Awards Ceremony has been booked at the prestigious Parliament of NSW, Sydney, originally for the Thursday 23 July 2020, but has now been moved to Thursday 22 October to allow the COVID 19 pandemic to come under control. We will continue to monitor the situation to ensure that we follow all authority recommendations to keep our members and industry colleagues safe.
