Launch of the CIBSE Data Centres Group

Join us for the launch of the CIBSE Data Centres Group, where we will discuss our exciting plans for the future. The CIBSE Data Centres Group brings together members from across the industry to collaborate on innovative, energy-efficient design solutions for data centres, paving the way for more sustainable networks.

The business of the first meeting shall be to elect the Committee from the members to manage the affairs of the Group. The committee roles available for Data Centre Group members to nominate themselves for are listed below. The current committee nominates the following people to fulfil these positions. In the event of more than one nomination being received per role, an election will take place.

The industry is invited to submit additional nominations for the above roles by Wednesday 26th February 2025. To nominate yourself, please fill out this form.

Should there be more nominations than positions available, a ballot will be held.

*All Officer positions require Corporate CIBSE membership (LCIBSE, ACIBSE, MCIBSE, FCIBSE).

There are now opportunities to share the roles of Vice Chair, Honorary Secretary or Honorary Treasurer with one other individual if this would make it viable for you to progress with your nomination - you can indicate this within the nominations form.

Where alcohol is provided, attendees are expected to know their limits and drink responsibly. The provision of alcohol should not be taken as an endorsement by CIBSE for attendees to drink excessively nor for any resulting improper conduct or activity.
