What is Reality Capture? - A seminar on the barriers to Adoption, Key Risks, Costing & Fee Build-up and Challenges for its uptake.

A seminar to discuss on the topic of Reality Capture experience at Arup, and how it is very different from what was originally only a surveyor’s role. Topics covered will be What is Reality Capture? – a basic Overview, and why there is an advantage to performing Reality Capture ‘In-House’. He will look at barriers to adoption, risk, defining scope, costing & fee buildup, Scan2BIM and some common Existing Modelling traps, as well as the typical Client Handover challenges & benefits for Digital Asset Management. Questions and interruptions welcome!


This seminar will provide 2 hours of CIBSE CPD in the following areas of competency:
