CIBSE South Wales are pleased to bring Ryan Clarkson and Steve Harris-Aucott of Luceco Group to the region to host a CPD on Commercial Lighting. Join us from 17:30 onwards for networking, food and drinks in 'The Hub' area at the Village Hotel before the seminar at 18:00. This will by a hybrid event for those that can't attend in person. The CPD will focus on, Automated lighting controls with daylight control are now mandated in Part L, moving from a ‘nice to have’ to a requirement. Standalone wired controls provide a robust, compliant, and affordable solution for most applications. Networked wired controls offer a comprehensive, fully featured energy saving solution with extensive reporting and monitoring functionality. However, they come with intensive design requirements, increased material and labor costs, complex wiring topologies, and extended commissioning programs. Wireless solutions combine the functionality of standalone and networked systems with added flexibility, reduced labor costs, and ease of installation and commissioning. For guidance on deploying the most appropriate lighting control strategies, refer to BRE 498 or LG14.
