CIBSE SA Chapter Members & Guests are invited to see the Tinmen modern ductwork manufacturing and prefabrication facility of 2000m2.

Tinmen are a major supplier to the Tier 1 Mechanical Services Contractors in South Australia. They have been operating for over 15 years and are part of the Kavanaugh Group from NSW.

They manufacture to AS-4254 and are proud of their advanced, state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery and methods of manufacturing low air leakage, and rigid, stiffened duct.

Manufacturing is from raw materials in coil or sheet form, in galvanised iron, aluminium, stainless steel, and ductboard, with internal or external insulation. They also manufacture silencers, frames, plinths, and sub-ducts. Finished ductwork can also be seen, assembled for lifting as pre-fabricated sections.

Major Projects containing their product include the RAH, QEH & Burnside Village.

Fire damper & smoke pressuristion testing is also carried out in conjunction with the AMCA.

This event provides 2 hours of CPD.

Following the event will be a chance to network over a few drinks and nibbles.
