An event to help the whole supply chain to understand and hopefully improve on their manufactured embodied carbon.

The CIBSE Patrons are pleased to offer an event to help the whole supply chain better understand and address the challenges of manufactured embodied carbon.

As awareness of embodied carbon in the built environment grows, the impact of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems is becoming ever more important. This event will bring together experts to share insights into how they have approached managing embodied carbon of MEP, covering topics such as:

  • Understanding the underlying data
  • How to design for lower carbon impact, and
  • How manufacturers are exploring their carbon impact.

This will be followed by a lively Q&A, where the wider impacts of MEP systems will be discussed, and the event will conclude with a chance to network with other attendees.

Speakers include CIBSE Embodied Carbon Subcommittee, British Land, Introba, Swegon, SWEP and CIBSE Certification.

This event is open to all employees of CIBSE Patron member organisations, as well as their guests, who may or may not be from a CIBSE Patron member organisation. The event is suitable for members of all stages in their career.
