Join the CIBSE Site Walk at UoA's B201 and HIWA (Recreation Centre)! Explore sustainability features, pool plant, and innovative sports hall.

We are excited to invite you to an exclusive tour of the University of Auckland's B201 building and the newly constructed HIWA (Recreation Centre). This event will provide a unique opportunity to explore the innovative building services and distinctive features of these facilities.

Event Highlights:

B201 Building:

Discover the advanced sustainability features of B201, including its world-leading low carbon design and adaptive reuse strategies. The building has achieved a 6 Green Star rating and has been recognized with multiple awards for its sustainable refurbishment and innovative design.

HIWA:

Explore the state-of-the-art aquatic facilities, including a 33x20m stainless steel pool with adjustable depth, spa pool, sauna, and dive well.

Experience the innovative sports hall featuring the southern hemisphere’s first glass sports floor with integrated LED markings, accommodating multiple sports with dynamic court lines.

Join us for an informative and engaging walk-through, where you'll have the chance to interact with industry experts, ask questions, and network with fellow professionals.

Space Limitation:

Please note that space is limited to 40 people. Attendees will be divided into two groups of 20, with each group visiting either B201 or HIWA.

We will be gathering at 4 pm at the Hiwa Recreational Centre B301.

This provides 1 hr of CPD.
