In person seminar on the Building Safety Act


CIBSE North West invite you to join us for a seminar with our resident Building Safety Act expert - John Joyce.

John is an experienced Building Services Engineer who has since become a Building Safety Act expert and is versed with the changes that will affect all engineers moving forward.


John will take you through some key areas of the BSA regarding its origin the role of Duty holders, key Gateway stages and issues surrounding its impact, understanding of the golden thread, and what CIBSE are proposing regarding competency.


There shall be refreshments and food at the event. John will host a presentation, followed by a Q&A session. Questions are welcomed during and after the session. Following the event, if you are able to do so, we invite you to join us for a drink with John in the rain bar.
