TM66: 2021 creating a circular economy in the lighting industry

This TM66 course discusses the principles of circular product design and the methods by which the longevity of luminaires can be extended as far as possible to minimise their environmental impact. The course also explores TM66 CEAM-Make, the factors on which products are assessed, how this benefits and disadvantages manufacturers and the impact on product designs in future. The course concludes with a discussion on the use of retrofit gear trays rather than complete luminaires to minimise the impact of lighting upgrades.
