The CIBSE Building Simulation Group is pleased to invite everyone to our 2025 Annual General Meeting.

Due to recent CIBSE governance changes, Officers can now serve for a 3-year term without needing to be re-elected. They can serve for a maximum of 2 3-year terms in one Officer role. Elected members still have to be re-elected every year, but can only serve for a maximum of 12 years on the committee before they will need to have one year off the committee.


Officers without needing to be re-elected in 2025:

  • Honorary Secretary: Vasiliki Kourgiozou
  • Honorary Treasurer: Eric Roberts

The roles available for Building Simulation Group members to nominate themselves for are outlined below, the current committee nominates the people as outlined below to fulfil these positions. In the event of more than one nomination being received per role, an election will take place.

The membership is invited to submit additional nominations for the above roles by Wed 26 Feb 2025. To nominate yourself, please fill out this form.

Should there be more nominations than positions available, a ballot will be held.


*All Officer positions require Corporate CIBSE membership (LCIBSE, ACIBSE, MCIBSE, FCIBSE).

There are now opportunities to share the roles of Vice Chair, Honorary Secretary or Honorary Treasurer with one other individual if this would make it viable for you to progress with your nomination - you can indicate this within the nominations form.
