What are Low or Zero Carbon Technologies (LZCT), and how do these align with buildings? This course introduces technologies that people often classify as Low or Zero Carbon and introduces the various technologies. The course outlines design considerations, maintenance requirements, capital cost and technical principles of each.

The course also provides solid background information on standards, planning policies, and regulations associated with Low and Zero Carbon Technologies in buildings. It also outlines a feasibility template that assists with the appropriate technology selection.

Learning Outcomes

Understanding technologies that can positively contribute to reducing a building's energy footprint and the confidence to undertake feasibility studies to determine practical solutions.

Feedback

'Very beneficial and delivered excellently'

The course is suitable for all those involved in improving the energy efficiency of buildings eg: energy managers, consultants, engineers, developers, facility / building managers, architects etc
