How do I book a course?
What is the course duration?
The majority of our courses are 1 day. We also have 2 days, 3 days and half day courses. On all of our course pages, unless its a 1 day course the duration will be visable.
How many CPD hours is my course worth?
Half Day: 4 CPD hours
1 Day: 7 CPD hours
2 Day: 14 CPD hours
3 Day: 21 CPD hours
Do I gain a qualification?
No, all of our courses are continuous professional development. You can log your CPD hours in your MyCIBSE portal. Some of our courses have exams (energy assessor courses) and if successful, you can apply to be on a certified register with CIBSE Certification.

Do I receive a certificate? If so how?
Yes, you will receive a CPD certificate after completing the course. This will be emailed to you along with our evaluation form.

How is a course delivered?
Our courses are presented by our technical trainers. The day may include group work, discussions such as a question and answer session as well as working examples and calculations.
Which locations do you run the courses in?
Most of our courses are held at our head office in Balham, London. We also schedule training in various locations around the UK including Manchester & Birmingham. If you would like a course delivered in your work place we also offer 'in house' training.
Are your training courses accessible to all?
Any external venue sourced by CIBSE Training has been assessed by the team to meet the needs of all delegates however if you are attending training at the Head Office in Balham please contact the team prior to your booking / arrival.
When will I receive my exam results?
This will usually take up to 2 weeks after the exam, however for courses outside of London it might take slightly longer.
What are the exams made up of – How you’re assessed?
EPC: This exam is made up of 50 multiple choice questions
DEC: This exam is made up of 50 multiple choice questions
ESOS: This exam is made up of 30 multiple choice questions
ISO: This exam is made up of 40 multiple choice questions
