Consultation on new Ecodesign Requirements for Lighting Products

The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) are seeking views on a proposal to update the ecodesign requirements for lighting products from 2023 and 2027. It is proposing to require that lamps offered for sale in Great Britain have a minimum energy performance of 120 lm/W by 2023 and 140lm/W by 2027. The proposal also highlights some exemptions.
