The CIBSE Young Engineers Awards (YEAs) 2024 have unveiled their highly anticipated shortlist, celebrating the exceptional talent and dedication of young engineers across the industry. These prestigious awards highlight the innovative thinking, hard work, and skills of graduates, apprentices, and undergraduates, while also recognising employers committed to fostering and developing the next generation of engineering talent.
This year, the YEAs will showcase four award categories:
- CIBSE ASHRAE Graduate of the Year – Running for over 25 years, this award honours outstanding engineering graduates.
- CIBSE Employer of the Year – Now in its 16th year, this award acknowledges organisations that go above and beyond to support young engineers.
- CIBSE Apprentice of the Year – Now in its 4th year, this award recognises the efforts of apprentices at two levels: Level 3-4 and Level 5-7.
- CIBSE Undergraduate of the Year – Previously known as the President’s Award, this category celebrates undergraduates who show exceptional promise in building services engineering.
The awards ceremony will take place on 10 October 2024 at BMA House, London.
