The role of AI in designing and delivering net zero

In his presentation, Syed will highlight specific examples of the value of AI in the net zero transition including smart city infrastructure, smart microgrids, building energy optimisation, renewable energy integration, construction carbon footprint reduction, supply chain optimisation and project management. He will also outline a process for incorporating and utilising AI effectively, and explain the added value it can provide, particularly on complex and demanding projects.




The role of AI in a net zero energy building test facility

Jin Kawasaki is Head Researcher at the Information Technology R&D Center of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. He received a Ph.D from the University of Tsukuba in 2016. His research interest is smart building and city platform which provides solution such as carbon neutrality, energy management and workplace management.
