There are two open consultations, Carbon Monoxide Alarms and New build developments: delivering gigabit capable connections. CIBSE members are encouraged to submit comments to [email protected] by Monday 24 April.
Carbon Monoxide Alarms
This consultation seeks views on proposals to amend the statutory guidance (Approved Document J) supporting Part J of the Building Regulations to require that carbon monoxide alarms are fitted alongside the installation of flued fixed combustion appliance of any fuel type in all residential dwellings. This is in line with similar provisions already introduced in England.
New build developments: delivering gigabit capable connections
This consultation seeks your input and views on proposals to amend building regulations to require all new build houses to be equipped with gigabit broadband capability.
