National Apprenticeship Week (#NAW2023) runs from 06 - 12 February 2023.
National Apprenticeship Week brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
The theme for 2023 is #SkillsForLife; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.
CIBSE will be shining a light on apprentices and employers, sharing videos, interviews, and more via social media.
We would love to hear from you...
If you are currently doing an apprenticeship, or if you have completed one, we invite you to share your experience with us via social media, tagging @CIBSE and #NAW2023.
Additionally, if you are an employer that supports apprenticeship, we would also love to hear from you.
We have created a CIBSE #NAW2023 frame for members to use during National Apprenticeship Week.

#NAW2023 compliments the #CIBSE125Challenges perfectly. The Challenges were set by Kevin Mitchell, CIBSE President, to support his presidential theme, focusing on inspiring the next generation of engineers. Apprenticeships provide an opportunity to gain hands on training and to put your skills into practice. The are available at multiple levels, from school leavers to degree level. As well as gaining practical experience, apprenticeships offer the opportunity to earn while you learn.
As part of #NAW2023 we will be showcasing previous winners of the CIBSE Apprentice of the Year, which is awarded annual as part of the CIBSE Young Engineers Awards. You can find out more about the CIBSE Young Engineers Awards via https://www.cibse.org/what-s-on/cibse-young-engineers-awards
