Empowering Building Services Professionals with Cutting-Edge Skills

Why Mechanical Services training, why now?

The landscape of building services in New Zealand is set to undergo a transformative shift with the imminent launch of the Mechanical Services Engineering training program. This comprehensive training initiative aims to equip professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the ever-evolving field of mechanical services engineering. With a dedicated working group steering its development, this program promises to be a game-changer for the industry.

This course tackles Mechanical Services as a core discipline within building services engineering. Over 3 days it examines the statutory, cost and technical considerations for system design and plant component selection as well as how these integrate into the overarching building systems and construction process.

"This course has been prepared with accessibility in mind. The language and information used should be easy to understand. Having local experience involved means we can also keep it up to date and relevant to the New Zealand market." - Storm Harpman

The Vision Behind the Training

The Mechanical Services Engineering training program is the brainchild of a collaborative working group comprised of industry experts, academic professionals, and seasoned practitioners.

This collective vision is driven by the need to fill a long-standing gap in the market for those in the early stages of their mechanical services engineering careers and others wishing to gain an understanding of Mechanical Services systems.

It addresses the growing demands and challenges faced by building services professionals. Having run in Australia for the past 2 years the course is now being adapted for New Zealand to incorporate NZ standards and best practice.

By harnessing the expertise of local subject matter, the program is designed to provide cutting-edge training that is both relevant and forward-thinking.
