CIBSE is proud to be a partner in the upcoming IAQmatters conference, hosted by Eurovent and supported by BESA. This event will bring together a line-up of speakers to delve into the critical topic of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in educational buildings.
With IAQ playing a vital role in the health, comfort and wellbeing of both learners and educators, the conference will explore a wide range of factors necessary to create and maintain good indoor environments. Attendees can expect to gain insights from the latest research, hear compelling real-life case studies and explore cutting-edge industry perspectives.
Keynote and programme highlights
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) will deliver the keynote presentation, unveiling the findings from their latest review on IAQ in educational settings.
CIBSE will also have a significant presence at the conference:
- Emma Gibbons (Doctoral Researcher at UCL and Chair of the CIBSE Air Quality Subcommittee) and Peter Walsh (Technical Director, WSP) will present Filters in Classrooms and Intrusion of Externally Polluted Air.
- Huw Poppy, Secretary of the CIBSE Natural Ventilation Group, will represent CIBSE at their dedicated table on-site, providing attendees with information and insights about CIBSE's role in supporting improved IAQ.
