This innovative initiative reflects CIBSE's dedication to nurturing the future generation of engineers and tackling the industry's skills gap. Thanks to the support of CIBSE Patrons, this engaging game will be integrated into educational outreach activities conducted by CIBSE STEM Ambassadors in schools, aiming to ignite a passion for building services engineering among young learners.
Each participating team of students will receive a kit comprising a 3D-printed model toilet and pipes. Their mission? To construct a fully operational flush system that efficiently flushes a small raisin down the toilet. Through this hands-on challenge, students will not only gain practical insights into the mechanics of building services engineering but will also develop a profound understanding of the importance of water conservation and environmental stewardship.
