CIBSE Ireland recently hosted a dynamic morning event at the RDS Members Club, in Dublin, bringing together professionals and industry leaders from across the Building Services sector. The event provided a platform for insightful discussions on key industry challenges and innovations, reinforcing CIBSE’s commitment to knowledge-sharing and professional development.

The morning began with networking and breakfast, setting the stage for an engaging lineup of expert presentations and discussions. Stephen Weir, CIBSE Ireland Chair, opened the event with a warm welcome, highlighting the importance of collaboration in shaping the future of building services.

Attendees then had the opportunity to gain insights from leading experts in the field:

  • CIBSE President, Fiona Cousins delivered a compelling session on Building Performance Reimagined, exploring its purpose and long-term implications for the industry.
  • Anastasia Mylona, CIBSE Technical Director, presented on TM65 Embodied Carbon, discussing its impact on building design and regional sustainability initiatives.
  • The event concluded with an interactive workshop led by Charlie Warwick and the Arup Foresight team, covering key topics such as climate change, regenerative design, circular economy, and innovation in energy.
