News
14 Nov 24

CIBSE announced the shortlist at the close of day one at CIBSE Build2Perform Live 2024 on 13 November at London ExCeL, spotlighting the inspiring projects, innovations, and leaders driving sustainable transformation in the built environment.

The 2025 awards introduce two new categories, Client of the Year and Leadership, reflecting CIBSE’s commitment to recognising the influential role of clients in setting ambitious sustainability standards and the leadership driving continuous improvement within the industry. From individual new build homes to portfolio decarbonisation strategies, digital innovations and embodied carbon solutions to projects prioritising air quality, thermal comfort, and occupant wellbeing, this year’s shortlisted entries showcase an impressive range of efforts to improve building performance and support the UK’s net-zero ambitions.

Julie Godefroy, Chair of Judges and CIBSE’s Head of Net Zero Policy, commented, "The calibre of entries this year is truly outstanding, demonstrating the industry's unwavering commitment to advancing building performance and sustainability. The introduction of the 'Client of the Year' and 'Leadership' categories highlights the pivotal role of visionary and dedicated clients and leaders in driving the transformation towards a net-zero, high-performance built environment."

The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on 27 February, and industry professionals are invited to join us in celebrating these accomplishments.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London. Bookings are now open at cibse.org/BPA.
