CIBSE ANZ is broadening its support of the Science, Art and Practice of building services engineering by offering discipline specific training modules designed for engineers and industry professional in the Australia and New Zealand region. The training and guidance is based on a mix of CIBSE guidance and local regulations and standards.
The majority of the sessions across seven disciplines have been drafted thanks to the contribution from over 55 regional industry expert. We are however, seeking additional volunteers to author some of the final sessions in the Mechanical, Electrical Engineering and Sustainability Training.
We have detailed frameworks and templates for each session to assist with development.
We are looking for members with expertise to contribute to the following sessions:
Mechanical
- Ventilation Introduction
- Ventilation Outdoor Air
- Mechanical Fire and Smoke Control
- Maintenance Management
Electrical
- Advanced Technologies
- Commissioning & Testing
Sustainability
- Environmental Legislation
- Sustainability Tools (International/Other tools) – LEED, BREEAM, Passive House and Energy Star
Detailed frameworks of the training will be shared with those interested in looking further at a particular session.

- Sustainability 1 Day
- Electrical 3 Days
