CIBSE ANZ added a Graduate Programme of the Year category for the first time.
We spoke to Niro Siriwardena, CIBSE ANZ YEN Chair about why.
“Over the last 7 years the Young Engineers Awards has prided itself in celebrating emerging talent in the building services industry. Our 3 awards - Student, Graduate, and Young Engineer of the year have identified excellence at three key early careers stages, but it's become clear that outstanding building services professionals don't emerge in silos. It takes dedicated guiding hands, often found at the organisational level, to elevate these rising stars.
Having witnessed these support networks that develops our finalists and winners, CIBSE feels it's time to expand our collection of accolades to recognise some of the outstanding graduate programmes that help build better engineers."
