Preparing your application documents is a critical step that involves gathering evidence of your qualifications, experience, and competence. Here is a guide on what you need.
Understanding the requirements
- Review all the details to confirm your competence eligibility and confirm your route before starting your application process.
Gather the necessary documents for the Academic or Experience route:
- Write your Engineering Practice Report (4000 – 5000 words) demonstrating the required competences. (LCIBSE EngTech Report is 2000 words).
- Experience template (experience route applicants only, download below).
- Qualification certificates and transcripts (in English).
- Your latest CV.
- Organisational chart which clearly indicates your role.
- Development action plan – this is a structured and personalised plan that outlines the steps that you may need to take to develop.
- Demonstration of competences – this is to be completed by your sponsor.
- The name and details of your sponsor.
- Your identity proof (passport, driver’s licence, national identity card etc).
- Debit or credit card to enable you to process the application and interview fee. (An additional review fee is required for Experience route applicants.)
