Affiliate and Graduate Members

If you are a Graduate or Affiliate member, reinstatement is a straightforward process - no additional documents are required.

Please note that reinstating your membership requires payment of both a reinstatement fee and the current year’s membership subscription fee.

How to reinstate?

• Step 1: Log in to your MyCIBSE account
• Step 2: Update your contact details (address, phone, and email)
• Step 3: Contact the CIBSE membership team via Email or call us on +44(0)20 8772 3650, to confirm your intent to reinstate and verify the total fees due.
• Step 4: Make your payment, covering both the reinstatement fee and the current years membership subscription for your reinstated grade

Important: If you joined as a Graduate Member more than 10 years ago, you will be reinstated as an Affiliate Member
