Graduate membership is a transitional membership for those who are working towards the competences required for Licentiate (LCIBSE), Associate (ACIBSE) or Member (MCIBSE) grades.
To be eligible, you should be a recent graduate (graduated within the last five years) and have completed a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics degree (UK or International equivalent). This can be a Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree. Once you've submitted your documents, CIBSE will confirm if your qualification(s) are accredited for IEng/CEng and provide you with information on upgrading and obtaining Professional Registration.
Please note, this grade of membership does not offer the use of any designatory letters.
If you have previously held Graduate membership with us, please contact us to reinstate your membership.
