The Rainwater harvesting design and installation guide is published by the Domestic Building Services Panel (www.dbsp.co.uk), a joint initiative of the heating industry and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, and covers rainwater harvesting systems for domestic dwellings.
This guide provides a straightforward means of achieving rainwater harvesting without the need for prior technical training, and may be used as a text book for domestic rainwater harvesting training courses. It will also form the platform for further aids to design work, including the use of electronic technology. The design standards in this Guide remain those arrived at by the drafting group as being appropriate for use in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
