Overview:
Are you creative, digitally savvy, and passionate about promoting building services engineering?
We’re looking for volunteers to manage and grow our Special Interest Group’s social media presence. This is a great opportunity to help share technical knowledge, highlight upcoming events, and showcase the incredible work happening across the building services industry.
You’ll work alongside a supportive team of volunteers to raise awareness of topics relevant to the group and the upcoming events —helping to connect professionals, students, and industry professionals worldwide.
What you'll do:

Create and schedule content across platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram)

Promote events including webinars, site visits, and technical talks

Share industry news, thought leadership, and member insights

Design simple graphics or collaborate with others to produce visual content

Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow our audience

Coordinate with fellow volunteers and CIBSE staff to align messaging

Keep a consistent tone and visual identity across all posts
