2024 CIBSE Scotland Poster Competition Winners

Hear from last year's winners about their experience participating in the competition

1st Place: Alessandro Stella

"Participating in the student competition in honour of Jeremy Cockroft was an incredible opportunity to put into practice all the concepts I had learned during my university years. The award ceremony was equally extraordinary and it allowed me to step into the Scottish engineering industry and receive valuable and diverse feedback."

2nd Place: Robert Lawrence

"As for my experience, it was great! The conference was incredibly informative, kind, and supportive, with a lot of great conversations".

3rd Place: Harriet Dale

"Taking part in the CIBSE poster competition was my first opportunity to engage with so many industry professionals, it allowed me to network, gain insights into companies and broaden my understanding of the industry. While it was initially nerve-wracking to step into the conference, I am happy to have taken part and proud to have earned 3rd place. For students, competitions like this are an excellent addition to a CV. They provide valuable experience with companies and offer insight into current developments in the field. I would absolutely do it again."
